Christina Ouska is Vice President and a Senior Trial Consultant with JuryScope. With a background in business and a legal education, Ms. Ouska brings a unique perspective to jury consulting. Ms. Ouska has been with JuryScope for nearly 20 years. Her historical knowledge of the industry and experience through economic ups and downs, the mortgage crisis, the Covid-19 epidemic and countless other industry and world events, provides her with a unique perspective on juror opinions and biases.

Ms. Ouska has consulted on hundreds of cases and is an expert at designing and running bespoke research projects designed specifically for the needs of each trial team and case, including mock arbitrations and mock bench trials, mock trials and litigation focus groups. Her expertise in finding a representative cross-section of a venue’s demographic and in identifying appropriate matched venues offers clients unique insights into venue selection for both trial and research purposes. She has designed studies to address challenging and unique situations, including socially distanced in-person studies during the COVID-19 pandemic following proper public health protocols and virtual mock trials, virtual focus groups, and virtual mock arbitrations

In addition to providing pre-trial support to litigation teams, Ms. Ouska has extensive experience supporting teams throughout trial, including jury selection support, as well as trial observation, where Ms. Ouska has offered daily highlights and juror insights, witness preparation throughout trial and support in developing trial graphics, opening statements, witness examinations and closing arguments. Ms. Ouska has organized and conducted countless shadow juror interviews and post-trial juror interviews.

Ms. Ouska’s ability to listen with genuine empathy and keen wit, combined with her extensive expertise in human behavior and legal knowledge provides her with unique insights for communication training and preparing witnesses for trial and deposition. She has prepared many hundreds of witnesses, including fact, expert, foreign, and non-native English-speaking witnesses for trials across the country.  

Ms. Ouska has presented on many topics related to trial consulting to countless law firms, bar associations, West LegalEdCenter, Minnesota CLE, and has co-authored publications with her colleagues at JuryScope.

Ms. Ouska graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources/Industrial Relations, International Business, and French. She earned her J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law. She is a non-practicing attorney in the state of Minnesota. Ms. Ouska is based in Minnesota.
