JOHANNA HILLARD
Johanna Hillard is a Senior Trial Consultant with JuryScope,
Inc. Coming from a national civil litigation practice, Ms. Hillard has
experience in many facets of the law. Since joining JuryScope, Ms. Hillard
has gained extensive trial consulting experience in several areas, including:
- Intellectual Property
- Insurance Coverage
- Products Liability
- Securities
- Class Actions
- White Collar Crime
- Contract Disputes
Although most of the cases she has handled are confidential, some representative
matters she has contributed to include:
- O2 Micro v. MPS (Patent Litigation – Oakland, California)
- Compuware v. IBM (Patent and Trademark Litigation – Detroit,
Michigan)
- State of Utah v. Workman (White Collar Crime – Salt Lake City,
Utah)
- Miller, et al. v. Bank of America (Class Action – San Francisco,
California)
- Edminston v. Diversitech General, et al. (Asbestos Litigation –
San Francisco, California)
Ms. Hillard has consulting experience in conducting research
through mock trials and litigation focus groups, opening statement analysis,
preparing witnesses for trial, developing jury voir dire, jury selection
and post trial juror interviews. Ms. Hillard works out of Minneapolis/St.
Paul, Minnesota.
Ms. Hillard graduated magna cum laude from Washington University
with a bachelor of arts in history, women’s studies and French.
She then earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and
practiced in Minnesota and California before joining JuryScope, Inc. She
is an inactive member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar
of Minnesota.
